requirements mandated for trailers manufactured after March 1, 2001

These ABS kits are 2S/1M systems, requiring 1 axle to be ABS equipped with sensors
and tone rings. The axle is the determining factor for which kit should be used

An air brake truck pulling an air/hydraulic brake trailer is not a balanced brake system.
8500 series air/hydraulic system should only be used as a last option to operate trailer brakes.
Because of individual installation requirements air line is not included.
